New Directions in Jewellery features over 80 jewellers who are pushing the boundaries of traditional jewellery design. Crossing over with textiles, fine art, performance and sculpture, this book explores the ways in which the field of jewellery has been expanding to encompass an exciting, beautiful and provocative array of work. Including seminal characters such as Gerda Flöckinger, Peter Chang and Arline Fisch alongside many emerging makers such as Daisuke Sakaguchi, Anna Osmer Andersen, Kayo Saito and Colette Hazelwood, this book provides a unique cross-section of contemporary jewellery practice.
The publication also contains contextualising essays written by leaders in the field: Paul Derrez presents a mini-history of conceptual approaches to jewellery and proposes future directions; Jivan Astfalck elaborates on the concept of Jewellery Art; Caroline Broadhead writes on the relationship of jewellery to the body
The pieces featured in the book are Hearing Aid Jewellery and Squash - The Gobstopper Mouthpeice...both can be seen in more detail on my GALLERY page

As with my own work, you can expect a high standard of service and a friendly personal approach.

Manchester-based session guitarist Tim Scott was flown out to Ibiza for the second year running to perform alongside Radio 1 DJ Judge Jules at his club night Judgment Sunday, during the Radio 1 events. The combination of superstar DJ and virtuoso live guitar proved once again that separate musical worlds can be united - and that the results can be incredible.

Expressions was a one day event in London organised by the NWDA (Northwest Development Agency) and CIDS (Cultural Industries Development Service), to highlight the best of the northwest fashion design.
Big Brother 4 was at it's height at the time of Expressions and so were their evictees. The infamous Anoushka is pictured here wearing one of my latest Wraparound Necklaces.
The Expressions event then moved on to Singapore Fashion Week (Aug 2003) and to New York (Oct 2003) where I once again showing my work to international buyers, galleries and individual collectors.
I successfully impressed buyers with my ranges and returned to England with new customers.
